A small blood sample is taken similar to a routine blood test. It's spun at high speed in a sterile tube, separating out the growth factors: cytokines, epidermal growth factors, fibroblast growth factors, insulin growth factors, and vascular endothelial growth factors. These are what get delivered back into the scalp.
The scalp is disinfected and a low-level laser is applied. Specific wavelengths stimulate epidermal cells, encourage follicle regeneration, cause vasodilation, and accelerate blood flow making sure the scalp is primed for maximum nutrient and oxygen delivery before the growth factors go in.
